Brad and Melissa FinleyBrad and Melissa Finley
46 years old; Owned and operated several businesses with his wife, Melissa. They have one daughter, Taylor, who has attended Stillwater and Perry schools. They started Cowboy Kids in 1991 and currently operate the Cowboy Kids Tumbling and Cheer business located at Kid’s Kingdom in Stillwater . Melissa also manages the Sooner’s Corner Restaurant in Perry located on I-35. Brad is a graduate of Perry High School and Oklahoma State University with a degree in Business Management. Melissa graduated at the University of Oklahoma with a Master’s Degree in Sports Administration. Both have made a career of educating, training and developing confident individuals for success in a variety of areas, most recently young and adult drivers. Our focus is getting students to understand that driving is a privilege that can be taken away. The stakes are high enough when considering the everyday risks on the road. We focus on teaching respect for the road and others on it. Our philosophy is to combine knowledge with repetitive practice on detailed maneuvers, which develop into good driving habits. When we add techniques for defensive driving, we give our students the foundation and knowledge to enjoy the driving experience in a safe manner for the rest of their lives.

Don StoopsDon Stoops
55 yrs old. 4 children. Wife Cathy works for the Okla. Turnpike Authority. Don was CLEET Certified as a State Trooper and also has the 9 hours of college Driver's Education (Driver's Ed I & II, General Safety). His 30 plus years of road experience allows him to share with first hand knowledge of the most common mistakes as well as fatal mistakes made by Teen Drivers. Don is in charge of all of the Advanced Course Curriculum, Instructor Driving Procedures, and all Defensive Driving instruction. Five year DL examiner. Started Stillwater Driving Academy in 2002. Worked as contract aviation security officer for the US Marshals office from 2003 thru 2007. Attended Northern Okla, College and the University of Central Oklahoma.


Phillip HumphreyPhillip Humphrey
Age 33. Wife and 3 wonderful kids. Seven years experience as a certified driving instructor, beginning in 2002 with Merkley's Driving School in Edmond and most recently with Cowboy Driving Academy since 2005. Currently working toward a Ph.D. in Business Finance at Oklahoma State University, where he has taught classes in Real Estate, General Finance, and Financial Markets and Institutions.


Doug ChesbroDoug Chesbro
1980 graduate of Stillwater High School and Oklahoma State Alumni. Married, to his wife Debbie, together they have five children, ages 25 to 14. Teaching at Stillwater High School in his fourteenth year, with 21 years of experience in Education. Teaches Biology, Physical Education and coaches wrestling, along with teaching Driver Education for the past five years at Stillwater High School.
